Scott Neumann -
Drums / Percussion Scott, a nine year veteran of the New
York downtown scene, is an Oklahoman by birth. Since his arrival in NY he has performed /
recorded with such artists as Joshua Redman, Chris Potter, Roy Hargrove, David Tronzo, Jim
McNeely, and Harvey Schwartz; and last year found him on the road with Madeleine Peyroux.
Scott is a percussionist / composer whose musical talent and interests have found him
performing in a broad pallette of musical situations. Neumann's propulsive and dynamic
style is adept in a wide variety of ensembles, and his versatility is demonstrated by the
associated he has had with artists such as David Byrne, Woody Herman, David Liebmann,
Anthony Cox, Jack McDuff and Makoto Ozone. His international music performances include
