PHILADELPHIA - Ann Hampton Callaway will be the guest of Peter Nero and the Philly Pops in Aristocrats of Swing on Apr. 9, 10, 12 and 16 at the Academy of Music. Songwriter and entertainer, Callaway is currently starring in the Broadway musical, Swing!

This last Pops concert of the 21st season series celebrates the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and the "First Lady of Song," Ella Fitzgerald.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT ME?: Suffering from spring fever? Need some pep? Aristocrats of Swing offers a Broadway star performing a hot-again musical style.

Callaway, perhaps best known for writing and performing the theme song for the popular TV series, The Nanny, has won 10 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabaret and Clubs) Awards and has just released her seventh CD, Easy Living, with guest artist Wynton Marsalis. She is a popular club, concert, and jazz performer around the world and on television. Swing! is her Broadway debut.
