Cast Holds Silent Auction for BC/EFA

The cast of Swing! has announced the details of a silent auction being held to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids (BC/EFA). Dance lessons, memorabilia from the show, a customized song from Ann Hampton Calloway, a personal voice lesson with Laura Benanti and a night out with the cast of Swing! at a top swing club are just some of the items being auctioned.
According to production sources, the complete list of items to be auctioned includes:
• Swing With Swing!
-- Dance the night away with the cast of Swing! at New York's hottest swing club,
Swing 46. (Minimum Bid: $500)
• Opening Night Pin -- This gold Swing! logo pin was given to the cast members
on opening night. (Minimum bid: $40)
• "Shaking" Not Stirred -- Enjoy an opening night Swing! logo
Martini shaker given exclusively to the cast. (Minimum Bid: $60)
• Ann's Song -- Ann Hampton Callaway will write and record your very own song about
anything or anyone you wish. (Minimum Bid: $1,000)
• Sing Like A Skylark -- Enjoy a one hour private singing lesson with Laura Benanti.
(Minimum Bid: $250)
• Latin Fever -- Learn the Latin dances with dance diva Maria Torres and her partner
Carlos Sierra Lopez. (Minimum Bid: $250)
• Do-Si-Do -- An hour of two-stepping and country dancing with four time world
champions Robert Royston and Laureen Baldovi. (Minimum Bid: $250)
• California Dreamin’ -- An hour-long West Coast swing lesson from Beverly
Durand and Aldrin Gonzalez. (Minimum Bid: $250)
• Lindy Hoppin' -- Learn swing and Lindy Hop from world champion Ryan Francois!
(Minimum Bid: $250)
• Bli-Blippin' -- Scat Kat Everett Bradley will give you an hour lesson on the joys
of scatting. (Minimum Bid: $250)
• Krispy Kreme Dream -- A year's supply of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, good anywhere in
the U.S. (Minimum Bid: $300)
• Hat's Off -- Robert Royston's country hat, signed by both he and Laureen. (Minimum
Bid: $100)
• Signed Shoes -- Grab a pair of signed dance shoes from the cast member of your
choice (Minimum Bid: $50)
• Memorabilia -- Own a handmade scrapbook with opening date and cast signatures
(Minimum Bid: $50)
• Signed Souvenir Book -- The entire cast's signature on the cover of the Swing!
Souvenir book. (Minimum Bid: $50)
• A New York Serenade -- Crooner Casey MacGill will come to you, ukulele in hand, and
sing to you and a loved one. (Minimum Bid: $350)

Winners will be contacted in late April. Payments are made payable to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids and are tax deductible.
