Cast members from the all-dance Broadway musical Swing! can be seen on television this week in New York City and the tri-state area. The three appearances began late yesterday with Ann Hampton Callaway being interviewed on the Time Warner late night cable show, "Broadway Beat," on Feb. 14.

Next to appear on the small screen will be Swing! dancers Kristine Bendul, Beverly Durand, Aldrin Gonzalez and Robert Royston when they appear with Star Jones of ABC Television's "The View." The Broadway cast will give Jones a swing dance lesson on Feb. 15. Swing's band, the Gotham City Gates will serve as the "house band" during the show. The program airs live at 11AM (local time) in New York City.

Finally, on Feb. 17, Fox 5's "Good Day New York" will be broadcasting for two hours from the St. James Theatre. Swing! stars Laura Benanti and Everett Bradley as well as dancers Carol Bentley, Beverly Durand, Aldrin Gonzalez and Scott Fowler will be present. The Gotham City Gates will perform "Bill's Bounce" (written by Bill Elliott) as the dancers perform the spectacular "bungee number" from Swing!. This show airs in the tri-state area Feb. 17, 7-9 AM, on Fox Channel 5.

As reported earlier, the high energy, all-dance nod to the worldwide Swing phenomenon stars composer and song stylist Ann Hampton Callaway in her Broadway debut, with direction and choreography by Taylor-Corbett. The production was supervised by the Tony Award-winning director Jerry Zaks.

The vocalists of Swing! include Laura Benanti, Everett Bradley and Ann Hampton Callaway, with Casey MacGill. The dancers include: Laureen Baldovi, Carol Bentley, Caitlin Carter, Geralyn Del Corso, Beverly Durand, Scott Fowler, Ryan Francois, Edgar Godineaux, Aldrin Gonzales, Robert Royston, Carlos Sierra-Lopez, Jenny Thomas, Keith Lamelle Thomas, Maria Torres and Michael Gruber.
