"SWING INTO SPRING!"
The Original Broadway Swing! celebrates before The Tonys by Swinging into Spring at The Greatest Bar on Earth at Windows on the World! On Monday, April 3rd at 9:00 PM, only a month before the Tony nomination announcements, the stars of the hit musical, The Original Broadway Swing!, will be partying among the stars and dancing high above the city that made it famous at The Greatest Bar on Earth. Cast members will be jumpin', jivin' and performin' to the wailin' swing sounds of Casey McGill and The Gotham City Gates who will rattle the rafters until 11:30 PM. At 9:00 PM, Maria Torres, Carlos Sierra-Lopez, Laureen Baldovi and Robert Royston will be performing two numbers from the show. After the performance, cast members and guests will be invited out onto the dance floor to swing into the stratosphere to the hoppin' sounds of the band. At 10 PM, DJ Johnnie "O" will take over and clear the floor for the "Swing into Spring" Dance Contest. Each couple will get 3 minutes to show their stuff. Grand prize is a $100 Gift Certificate to Windows on the World and two tickets to see The Original Broadway Swing at the St. James Theatre. All contestants will also receive a ticket to the show. After the contest, The Gotham City Gates will return to the stage to end the evening in a free for all swing fest.
